| We are looking for an experienced Java/OO software developer who has the passion and desire to live in Australia while providing technical & architectural leadership to new & existing web application projects. |

From the start you will be working with infrastructure support groups to design and implement the production foundations for future client-facing web applications whilst establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the business and IT stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent knowledge of Java and object oriented software development
- In-depth experience applying web-based Enterprise Java solutions to challenges requiring distributed architecture
- Ability to lead the architectural direction
- Spring, Velocity, Hibernate, JSF etc.. framework experience
- Proficiency with client-side web technology such as DHTML & JavaScript, ideally also AJAX, RIA
- Web Services & messaging integration experience
- Some experience with Content Management Systems and Portal frameworks
- Good working knowledge of general web infrastructure: browsers, proxies, security, LDAP, XML
