| A Team Manager to run the IT Applications team / Peoplesoft. The manager will need to have Solid understanding of Financial and Banking markets.

This IT Application Managers position will involve the following:
Manage and drive the development, implementation and maintenance of the PeopleSoft IT applications in order to Meet the functional and technology needs.
Establish priorities with the business users and translate these into agreed projects; Drive IT architecture initiatives related to the PeopleSoft applications.
Responsibilities . Manage an IT Unit: overall quality of the Unit's work . Manage the maintenance, technical support and further development of the Bank's PeopleSoft implementation, including future software upgrades . Liaise closely with the users to establish priorities and translate these into agreed projects and tasks for IT . Manage the above projects or delegate their management to another member of Unit staff whilst maintaining overall responsibility . Take the lead in defining the PeopleSoft related IT architecture . Ensure appropriate documentation of systems in production and of all projects managed, in line with IT standards . Manage contracts and invoices with external suppliers in line with purchasing procedures . Keep up to date on the market for new versions and releases of PeopleSoft . Report periodically to the Head of Division on the Unit's activities and results.
Qualifications:
. Full University degree, preferably in Computer Science or related disciplines . At least 5 years professional experience in the IT function, preferably in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of business related management information systems, with experience in managing teams . Good knowledge and experience of project management principles, methods and practices . Good understanding of Bank business activities. . Knowledge and experience of service contracts including procurement issues . Knowledge of market trends and developments in the IT sector . In-depth technical and functional knowledge of the PeopleSoft application modules used by the Bank (HR: Administer Workforce; Global Payroll; ePerformance; Training; Recruiting; Time&Labor; Absence Management; eProfile; eRecruitment. Financials: Procure-to-Pay; General Ledger; Expenses) . Understanding of good practice in relation to IT applications architecture . Knowledge of operating systems, database management systems and other IT infrastructure systems . Excellent knowledge of English or French and a good knowledge of the other.
