| Senior Director position in a high-profile sales role, you will be responsible for leading the APAC sales effort for my client with revenue responsibility across the region. (Data Services, Credit Derivatives, Fixed Income, Basel II and Quantitative) |

This is a direct sales, target based performance position offering base salary, commission and bonus. The sales executive is expected to develop new relationships and convert them into new accounts. The incumbent of this role will: - Provide consistent guidance and mentoring to the sales force in accessing and selling to prospective businesses and organizations in order to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded. Achieving "own" sales targets - Institute structure and guidance to the team as it relates to best sales practices and improve internal processes and procedures - Respond to request for proposals and information and assist with scoping exercises in conjunction with the Head of Advisory Services for Asia Pacific - Identify and qualify new prospects across Asia Pacific - Handle and manage the sales process through to closure - Represent products and services that require strong knowledge in Fixed Income and Basel II regulatory requirements. - Develop and maintain a database (sales pipeline) of potential and existing clients
Person Specification
- Significant experience with Sales/Business Development in the Fixed Income and Risk Management arena in Asia Pacific - Proven track record in developing new business and growing revenue streams - Extensive consulting experience in the banking and capital markets sector, including both sales and service delivery - Proven ability to persuade and negotiate effectively - Ability to call upon clients, define their needs and respond with relevant products and services - Extensive financial institution contacts in Asia Pacific with CROs, CFOs, credit officers and asset managers - Understanding of risk management requirements in strategic decision making, risk identification, risk quantification / quantitative modeling, risk management framework development and implementation with an emphasis on credit risk management and capital usage (economic capital, Basel II, credit risk management / credit portfolio management) would be advantageous - Highly self motivated: ability to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance - Experienced with interfacing with senior management and executives especially in client project situations - Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks efficiently is critical - Ability to thrive under pressure and demonstrate flexibility to meet tight deadlines
